Bonnie Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Dallas Chapter of the American Payroll Association
The Bonnie Brown Memorial Scholarship was started in 1995 in honor of the ground-breaking work of past chapter President, Bonnie Brown, in the area of payroll education before her death.
This scholarship, of up to $1000, shall be awarded for use in the following calendar year.
This is open to all Dallas Chapter members. Request additional information by emailing the Scholarship Committee at: scholarship@apadallas.com

Here is an excerpt from the 2008 Winner, Jerri Martin, CPP:
"The Bonnie Brown Scholarship would allow me to purchase new materials or attend classes or conventions to boost my confidence level with the goal being to once again share my knowledge by teaching a class or mentoring new payroll professionals. I would like to be an encourager to those who are going through some of the difficult periods that every payroll professional faces and be a reliable source to someone who has a question."
Here is an excerpt from the 2007 Winner, Robyn Williamson:
"Having the Bonnie Brown Memorial Scholarship would help me attend college, seminars, luncheons, and conferences to gain knowledge for my own personal achievement goals. This scholarship would also allow me to distribute the knowledge gained with my department and colleagues."
