Payroll Classes - North Lake College 
The Dallas Chapter of the American Payroll Association joins with North Lake College to present Introduction to Payroll Concepts and Advanced Payroll Concepts classes. Classes include such topics as wage and hour laws, employee benefits, payroll systems and other processing options, withholding, depositing and reporting taxes, pre and post tax deductions, record-keeping and retention, international payroll, payroll accounting and internal controls. It also serves as a study resource for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) examinations. The course offers qualified CEU's to all individuals, including CPP's, FPC's, PHR, SPHR and CMA's. CEU hours will be granted based on the actual hours of participation of each student.

CPP & FPC Study Review and Simulation Test
The Dallas Chapter plans to host 2 CPP/FPC study groups in 2010. One before the Introduction to Payroll Class to acquaint students with their current knowledge level and the other after the Advanced Payroll Concepts class.
1st Study Group: Saturday, March 27, 2010
2nd Study Group: Saturday, August 14, 2010
